Albert Duffy's Rat Race Challenge
We are very pleased to announce that Albert Duffy, a young injured serviceman who has been to many of our reunion events, is taking part in the world's longest obstacle course to raise funds for Style for Soldiers.
The Rat Race is a huge challenge that tests your fitness, endurance skills and mental motivation. A gruelling 200 obstacles, 20 mile race, made particularly challenge as Albert suffered severe head and brain injuries whilst serving in Afghanistan.
Albert is the kindest of men, who has not let life stop him or his injury hinder his progress. The last race he entered saw him stopping a pulled a fellow competitor in a wheelchair over some rough ground which is typical of this gentle chap.
